If I had a book like this in middle school, I probably would have found the inspiration to talk to God about everything from an earlier age! This book is so relatable to the things young girls go through and feels like you’re listening to a friend! I’m going to give this book to my daughter to read who is almost in middle school. Katie is such a bright light and a wonderful role model for young girls. Building a relationship with God at a young age is so important, and what a great way to introduce God to young girls than to read someone’s prayer journal from someone who was the same age. It will encourage your daughters and the young girls in your life to talk to God about everything!

Just wow! I am enjoying reading this Seventh Grade Journal. It is written from the author's seventh grade heart, and it is open, honest and so much fun. You can see Katie's gift to write at this early age. I laughed at the description of the bad perm! OMG...I remember those days. Memories of my own bad home perm days from middle school vividly returned. This book will bless so many middle school girls!

I am so thankful for Katie's heart and for her sharing these truths with all who will read. This book is a great tool for youth groups! I can see churches buying this book in bulk and implementing a prayer journal for all of their students. Brilliant and transparent! Katie, you are a dream and you have a pure heart!
